Lewis Capaldi has slammed ex-James Bond actor Sean Connery over his views on hitting women.

The singer made the remarks in a interview by French TV station France24.

Capaldi was playing a game on the show called 'Bam or Belter' in which journalist Majorie Hache asked the 23-year-old singer his opinion on famous Scottish people.

School uniforms to be made cheaper under plan to 'remove branded items'

The cost of school uniforms are set to go down thanks to a new law that will help parents save money.

Schools in England will be required to take steps to remove unnecessary branded items by next autumn.

They will be expected to make the changes before parents buy uniforms for the academic year starting September 2022.

The rules fall under the Education (Guidance About Costs of School Uniform) Bill, which was passed in April this year.

A group of 13 Australian women claim they were forcibly strip-searched after a baby was abandoned at Doha airport last year.

Three snow leopards die of Covid-19 at US zoo after tigers also tested positive

Three snow leopards at a zoo in the US have died of Covid-19 a month after they first tested positive.

Keepers found out Ranney, Everest, and Malaku had the disease on October 13, along with a pair of Sumatran tigers, after they took nasal swabs and fecal samples.

The two tigers made a full recovery, but sadly the three snow leopards died of complications from the illness.
